To use this service, you have to upload your iTunesDB file
Your iTunesDB file contains a list of all the songs that are on your iPod (it does not contain any music).
This list is required to define your musical taste and search for people with similar tastes.
Before you upload your iTunesDB file
Before you upload your iTunesDB file, you should check a couple of things to improve the quality of results.
- Make sure that your artist, track and album info is correct (ID3 tags).
When converting CDs to MP3 or AAC format, this info is read from databases such as www.cddb.com or www.freedb.org, but unfortunately it is sometimes buggy.
- Clean up your pod, e.g. you may want to weed out music that you actually don't really like
- Optional: use the star rating to indicate some of your high favourites
